Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Yields 9 X 13 pan
Cake Batter
2 cups all purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups sugar
5 tablespoons dutch processed cocoa powder
1 cup whole milk
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa, add sugar, stir in milk and melted butter-mixing until combined. Spread evenly into greased pan.
Pudding Mix
2 cups brown sugar
½ dutch processed cocoa powder
3 1/3 cups water, boiling
Combine the brown sugar and cocoa, spread over the top of batter. Pour the boiling water on top of the pudding mix. Bake at 325 degrees 45-55 minutes, cake will rise to top and pudding will sink to bottom. Yum!
Serve while warm.
