Digital Payer-Provider Connections Save Time, Lower Costs

To help reduce costs and improve efficiency, NorthShore University HealthSystem in Illinois implemented Payer Platform, Epic’s software solution and interoperability network that supports communication between payers and providers. This integration supports their value-based care arrangements by allowing NorthShore to exchange relevant clinical records directly with affiliated payers without the need for manual intervention or point-to-point interfaces.

• Automatically sent clinical information to payers after a clinical visit or admission
