Ardent to Replace 80 Applications across Multiple Systems

Installing integrated clinical, billing, and population health
Ardent’s Epic project covers 14 hospitals and hundreds of physicians onto a single, integrated platform for clinical care, billing, and population health. This will replace 80 of their current applications, including Cerner, McKesson, and many niche systems.
Over 500 Ardent staff were involved in evaluating solutions. According to David T. Vandewater, President and CEO of Ardent Health Services, it was “important to find a partner that not only offers the tools and functionality we need, but also one who shares the belief in making healthcare better, simpler and more human.”
