It’s time to celebrate, mate! The Royal Children’s Hospital in Australia is the first organization down under to use Epic. They went live big-bang-style on May 1 and have had “a remarkably smooth, successful go-live,” according to CEO Christine Kilpatrick.
In the first three weeks, end users saw firsthand the value of having an integrated electronic health record.
“One thing we’re looking forward to is using the extraordinary amount of data that is available to all of us to drive improvement,” Kilpatrick said.
